Q:
Will this rack work on a diesel pusher or an RV with a back
compartment?
A: Yes, simply pull the two lower spring pins and the rack
pivots to the ground allowing access to any rear compartments. |
|
|
Q: Can I tow a vehicle without removing the rack?
A: Yes, you can tow anything as long as you don't
exceed the tongue weight recommended on your hitch receiver
including any weight on the rack itself.
|
|
|
Q: What keeps the rack from wiggling and rocking in the
receiver ?
A: Since our rack system is designed so that the bottom
plate stays on your RV, we supply two 5/8" bolts
and lock washers that take place of the standard pin and
clip, this minimizes most movement.

|
Q: The bumper on my Camper allows forward and back movement
on the rack as if my bumper weren't strong enough, what
should I do ?
A: We sell a roof mounted stabilizer bar the attaches
to the upright brackets on the rack that eliminates
any rocking if needed.

|
Q: How much weight can the rack hold ?
A: You should never exceed the recommended tongue weight
of your hitch or bumper. On a typical 2" Reese type
receiver, the maximum tongue weight is usually 500lbs.
(there may be a label affixed to your hitch) Also, as
with loading any other rack or tray, common sense
should be used.
